Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: June 18, 2026

1. Overview

pipera ("we," "our," or "us") lets you delete your personal data and any data we have stored from the third-party platforms you connected (such as Meta / Facebook / Instagram, TikTok, Google, and Shopify). This page explains how to request that deletion and what happens after you do.

2. How to request deletion

Option A — Email request (recommended for full deletion)

Send a request from the email address on your account to privacy@pipera.io with the subject "Data Deletion Request." If you cannot sign in, include your account email and any brand or organization name so we can verify ownership. Once verified, we delete your account and the data tied to it, and revoke every connected platform token.

Option B — Disconnect a single platform yourself

To remove only one connected platform, sign in at app.pipera.io, go to Settings then Integrations, and choose Disconnect on that platform. This revokes and deletes the stored access token and the platform data we retrieved for that integration — for a store, the orders and customer records we synced; for an ad platform, the conversion and creative-performance records tied to it. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use Option A.

3. What we delete

  • Your account profile (name, email, authentication records).
  • Brand data you provided (brand guidelines, product catalogs, voice and tone settings).
  • Generated content, drafts, scheduled posts, and performance records tied to your account.
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens for every connected platform, which are revoked and removed.
  • Data we retrieved from connected platforms (for example engagement metrics, post performance, and catalog data).
  • Store order data we synced, including order records and the customer email addresses attached to them.
  • Conversion and ad-performance records we measured (purchase events and per-creative results).
  • Customer email lists and email suppression entries you imported or we synced for your campaigns.

4. Connected platform data (Meta, Google, and others)

When you disconnect a platform or delete your account, we revoke our access token for that platform and delete the platform data we stored. Content already published to your own social accounts is owned and controlled by you on that platform; to remove it there, delete it from the platform directly or through its own data-deletion tools. Removing pipera's access does not delete posts that already live on your accounts.

5. Timeline and retention

We process deletion requests promptly and complete them within 30 days. Encrypted backups are purged on their normal rotation cycle. We may retain a minimal set of records where we are legally required to (for example billing and tax records), and only for as long as the law requires.

Independently of any request, store order data and conversion records are automatically deleted on a rolling retention schedule once they reach 24 months old, so customer purchase data is never kept indefinitely.

6. Confirmation

Once your data has been deleted, we send a confirmation to the email address associated with the request.
